2-Hour Combo Lesson

Ideal for: Intermediate players or committed beginners
Focus: Chipping + Full Swing + On-course or simulated play

⏱️ 0–10 mins: Warm-up & Goal Setting
• Light stretch & range warm-up (short wedges to mid-irons)
• Chat: “What’s working? What’s not?”
• Define 1–2 goals for the session

⏱️ 10–40 mins: Short Game Focus – Chipping & Pitching

Goal: Improve contact, distance control, and decision-making
• Review setup, shaft lean, ball position
• Practice basic bump-and-run vs lofted shots
• Drills:
• Towel behind the ball for contact
• Landing zone towels for distance control
• Use 3 clubs to show rollout differences

⏱️ 40–70 mins: Full Swing – Iron or Driver Focus

Goal: Improve strike, consistency, and shape
• Video or live feedback: grip, posture, swing path
• Work on key flaw (e.g., over-the-top, poor rotation, early extension)
• Drills:
• Impact bag or tees for strike
• Alignment stick for path or takeaway
• Face control: Start line awareness

On-course if available (or simulate with targets on the range)
• Hit full shots with pre-shot routine

My first lesson for sometime and it was very useful. Tom gave me time to warm up before giving me swing tips which were appropriate for my restricted flexibility and current ability (or inability😀). Explanations were clear and concise and improvements on my ball striking was evident. More practice is needed to ingrain and I will definitely be returning for a top up in the near future.
